QADEX Conference 2017 – You’re Invited!
On Wednesday 24th May 2017 we will be holding our conference at the charming Eastwood Hall, situated in Nottingham. This year’s conference will be around the following theme:
“How to deliver a resilient and sustainable supply chain”
Food & drink businesses are under increasing pressure to deliver more sustainable and resilient supply chains. This can involve the need to address a growing number of complex environmental, social and economic risks that affect reputation, raw material costs and the ability to deliver quality, safe and legal products.
Example sustainability issues include food waste as well as risks associated with labour, water supply and political stability. There are some examples of good practice in this space, however, there is still a long way to go to embed best practice in everyday business and supply chain management.
Increasingly responsibility for managing these risks is falling to technical teams.
The 6th QADEX Conference has an excellent line up of speakers from WRAP and 3Keel.
Karen Fisher from WRAP will provide an update on best practice for measuring and monitoring food waste and surpluses in primary food production.
Richard Sheane from 3Keel will introduce established and emerging sources of risk and how the supply chain risk agenda is becoming of increasing interest to mainstream functions and customers?
Stephen Whyte from QADEX will provide insights into embedding sustainability impacts and risk management into supplier approval management infrastructure and how systems such as QADEX can help.
This conference will involve plenty of interaction and debate to help you identify how to address this challenging subject and protect your business.
Places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment.
